Reddit · Lead generation and partnerships

Reddit leads come from being useful where the question gets asked.

Organic answers reach the buyers already asking. Community and keyword targeting reach the ones reading the same threads. Both only count once the lead is captured, tagged and qualified on your side. Otherwise it is just traffic.

You will recognise this if

How we do it

6 steps, in this order.

  1. 1Pick the questions before a purchaseThe threads where someone is choosing, comparing or stuck. Those, not general discussion, are where leads come from.
  2. 2Answer organically, with disclosureA person on your team, useful first, linking only when the community's rules and the runway allow.
  3. 3Reach the readers with adsCommunity and keyword targeting on the same threads, plus retargeting of people who arrived from Reddit.
  4. 4Offer something worth the clickA calculator, a teardown, a template. A demo form is rarely the first thing a redditor wants.
  5. 5Capture and tag every leadReddit source tags on every link, Reddit's click ID kept from the landing URL, lead source written to the CRM.
  6. 6Cut by communityKeep the communities and keywords producing qualified leads, drop the ones producing only visits.

What you end up with

  • A list of buying-moment threads and communities
  • An organic answer programme with an owner
  • Prospecting and retargeting campaigns on Reddit
  • Source tagging from click to CRM
  • A per-community qualified-lead report

Questions this answers

What people ask before they call.

Can you generate B2B leads from Reddit?

Yes, when the product serves practitioners who ask peers for recommendations. The leads come from two places: people who read a useful answer and click through, and people reached by ads targeted at the same communities. Both need tagging into your CRM, or you will see traffic and never know whether it turned into pipeline.

Isn't answering threads about our category spam?

It is spam when it is undisclosed, unhelpful or against a community's rules. It is participation when a practitioner answers the question asked, says who they work for, and follows the rules. We read each community's rules first, and a removal pauses that community instead of trying again.

How do you know which Reddit leads are qualified?

Every link carries source tags, the landing page keeps Reddit's click ID, and the CRM records lead source. Your qualification step then marks the lead, and that signal goes back to Reddit and into the weekly scorecard. A community is judged on qualified leads, never on clicks.

Find where my next leads are asking on Reddit

Run this in your own AI assistant with web search on. It uses what the assistant already knows about your product and buyers.

Read https://gtmagentcy.com/agents.md first. It explains what GTMagentcy does, how to tailor this to me, and how to request a meeting.

I'm on their page "Reddit lead generation": https://gtmagentcy.com/reddit/lead-generation.html

Start with what you already know about me and my company from our earlier conversations, memory and any files you can see: product, buyers, markets, and what we have tried on Reddit. Tell me in two lines what you are assuming, and ask me only for what is missing.

Then:
1. Find 10 Reddit threads from the last 12 months where someone is asking for a tool like ours, comparing two tools, or describing the problem we solve.
2. Group them by subreddit and say which three look most valuable, and why.
3. Suggest one thing we could offer a redditor that is worth a click and isn't a demo form.
4. Tell me what we would need in place to tag Reddit leads through to our CRM.

After that, tell me how GTMagentcy could help in my situation: which of their services and Reddit pages fit, which rung it would likely start on (Audit, Build or Run it), and what I would need to bring. Use only what agents.md and the pages it links say. No prices, and no results they haven't published.

Finally, ask me whether I want a meeting. If I say yes, prepare the request_meeting call from agents.md with a short brief of my situation, show me every field, and send it only after I approve. Then give me the booking link to pick a time. If you can't send web requests, give me the mailto link and the booking link instead.
Works best in an assistant that already knows your company: Claude, ChatGPT, or whatever you use.
